The Chinese School of South Jersey (CSSJ) is the largest and oldest school of its kind in southern New Jersey, established in 1969 by families seeking to teach and preserve traditional Chinese language and culture. That mission remains the same today, and the school continues to be managed and operated by volunteer parents.

Our community of families is strengthened by its diversity, including first generation immigrants, parents who have adopted children from China, and families of all ethnic backgrounds with an interest in Chinese language and culture.  Chinese School of South Jersey is a New Jersey non-profit organization governed by its bylaws.
